She transformed the For Books’ Sake podcast, creating a sense of structure and consistency, generating ideas and content for new segments that were relevant and exciting for our listeners, and giving useful, honest and informed input throughout. “Becka is an absolute pleasure to work with. We’ve collaborated with her on a couple of projects now, most notably our West Lothian Schools Book Festival, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Becka recorded some of the author sessions in 2018 as well as voxpops with students and then edited these into manageable podcasts we have shared with the schools that attended. Furthermore, Becka suggested training a group of secondary school pupils in recording and interviewing techniques – these students then attended the festival armed with new skills and a feeling of ownership for the whole festival. This was so successful that we will roll this scheme out on a larger scale in future years. We’ve also asked Becka to chair several author events, including a sold out event with best-selling author Gill Sims, Why Mummy Drinks, with an audience of 120 & Judgy Dog! She is extremely professional and well-prepared for every event and meeting we have. We have been working with Becka for over a year and hope to continue for a lot longer!”
