Dangerous Women

The University of Edinburgh is running this brilliant thing called The Dangerous Women Project  in which people can submit essays and stories on exceptional women, often forgotten or over looked, but always amazing.

I wrote about Mary Anning, the fossil collector from Lyme Regis who in the early 1800’s helped to shape the modern world. She is a bit of a hero of mine. You’ll love her too.

She’s the inspiration behind the Tongue Twister She Sells sea shells (really, I should hate that, I have a lisp) – read it here.
