The last year ran away with me but rather a lot did happen…
My book was bought by William Collins last summer and I have been finishing the first draft of that. Estate: The Lives of the Rural Working-Class should be out Spring 2023! This is both incredibly exciting and very daunting.
I graduated from Glasgow University with a distinction in Creative Writing.
And I had a baby, a gorgeous wee blond boy who is so delicious sometimes I feel I could eat him.
I’m currently waiting on the edits coming back from my editor before working on the second draft.
In the meantime I’ve been growing potatoes, reading and walking. Well, I do those things in the small gaps between playing with, looking after, cooking and cleaning for the kids.
